The Ballroom Dance Club of Charleston is a chapter of USA Dance (formerly named USABDA). The club was formed in December of 1989 after Hurricane Hugo devastated Charleston.  BDC joined USABDA in 1991.

BDC is unusual in that it has a permanent location with a wonderful, large dance floor.  There are dances every Friday and Saturday.  Check our calendar for details.

There are also special events, such as the Spring Ball, Harvest Ball, Christmas Ball, and other theme parties during the year.

Please come and visit us when you are in Charleston.  We'd love to meet you and show you some southern hospitality.
